Description
Team Sopris offers a year-round swim program for anyone who lives in the Roaring Fork Valley and nearby communities from Vail to Rifle. The team exists to provide an opportunity for youth and adults to learn about and participate in competitive swimming. Our goal is for every swimmer to be prepared to compete to the maximum of his or her ability, and to have fun doing so. The Team Sopris program offers three practice levels: Developmental, Age Group and Junior/Senior. On joining the team, your swimmer will be evaluated by th coaching staff and placed in his/her appropriate practice group. Developmental is the beginning level of our program, and the proficiency of the swimmers increases at each level with corresponding increases in the practice time and intensity.
