Wireless Data Services (WDS), Inc. is a telecommunications company specializing in wireless data transport. We are headquartered in San Diego California. Our expertise and experience includes: Manufacturing Support Return Material Authorization (RMA) Repair System Engineering Integration and Test Installation and Commissioning Technical Support Operations Management WDS was formed in 1999 by former members of Pacific Communication Sciences (PCSI), Inc. Emphasis was in cellular (mobile) technology and basestation design. WDS originally focused on the wireless technology called Cellular Digital Packet Data, or CDPD. WDS managed the manufacturing, testing, deployment, and support of CDPD equipment for AT&T Wireless, Verizon Wireless, Dobson Wireless, and Lucent Technology. WDS is proud of the strong service support that these customers have experienced and counted on since our beginning. WDS has invested in fixed wireless expertise to complement the mobile wireless portion of our business. WDS is partnered with GyA Cellular International, S.A. (doing business as Inalambrica) to develop, deploy, and manage a wireless data transport network in San Jose, Costa Rica. This network delivers high speed data transport to corporate businesses that require high availability and cost effective data communication transport.
