Summary
Vail Valley Magazine
Founded in 1983
Description
Vail Valley Magazine focuses on the Vail Valley, giving back to the community and the world beyond. On April 25th and May 12 of 2015 Nepal shook to the tune of a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake. Not only did the world respond, but the Vail Valley, host to over 70 families from the Himalayan region of Nepal, came together to help those local villages rebuild their homes and their lives. Vail Valley Magazine published a story in the 2015 Summer Issue about a fundraising event in EagleVail for The Sherpa Foundation. Vail Valley Magazine is read by people all over the country and the world. From Dallas to New York City and Chicago to Mexico City. It has been read on the California beaches and now Vail Valley Magazine has made it to the base of the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest. This past year, Pemba Sherpa, head of The Sherpa Foundation took a copy last Summer's issue of Vail Valley Magazine to Nepal and took a photo with Mount Everest in the background.
