The Firm was created in 1999 by Dirk Marschhausen and Kevin P. Fitzpatrick and quickly established itself in the trial and appeal of complex subrogation and casualty actions. In addition to our standard lines property subrogation practice, we have developed a niche in the workers' compensation and benefits recovery field. Through the appellate process, we have revived areas of recovery in the field of workers' compensation benefit recovery, and have litigated high value subrogation cases to resolution. Our intention is to provide service to insurance carriers and subrogation vendors in the field of workers' compensation and benefits subrogation, property subrogation, insurance coverage litigation, professional liability and casualty defense. With main offices in Westbury, and affiliates throughout New York, we are able to handle claims in every corner of the state.
