Cowboy Up Hang Gliding, LLC is the only hang gliding school in Wyoming. We make hang gliding in the Wyoming Rocky Mountains an exhilarating and exciting adventure for the first time flyers as well as seasoned veterans of the sport. Established in Jackson Hole in 2003 our Founders have been teaching hang gliding at various other successful hang gliding schools in the United States and Europe since 1980. Additionally, we are able to offer professional instruction in French, German and Dutch. Our school is certified through the United States Hang Gliding Association; all our instructors are, at the least, Master Rated and Dual/Tandem Certified Pilots. Not only have our instructors been featured in various national and international sporting periodicals and on television, but are also world and national distance recordholders in the sport of hang gliding. With over 37 years of combined hang gliding experience we provide professional training, sales and service. We produce high quality students and follow up instruction at all levels. And best of all we have a great time doing it. Also, Cowboy Up Hang Gliding is one of less than a handful of hang gliding schools in the U.S. who have successfully obtain a United States Forest Service Commercial Use Permit to operate a commercial business on USFS property. Our training site is located in a beautifully scenic area of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest.
