Steve and Stan Schreckengast founded Citation Homes in Lafayette, Indiana in 1978. In 1996, Stan's son Jason joined the company. Citation Homes remains a family-run business. Stan and Jason personally supervise the construction of every home. Steve's focus is on commercial operations and the financial aspects of the company. Since 1978, Citation Homes has built more than 1000 homes and apartments in the Lafayette and Kokomo areas. Citation Homes has been recognized with numerous awards for home designs and quality construction at the Builders Association of Greater Lafayette Parade of Homes shows. Our goal is to build custom homes and condominiums, utilizing time-tested building systems and quality workmanship. We are active members of the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, the Home Builders Associations of Tippecanoe and Howard counties, the Indiana Builders Association, and the Lafayette Board of Realtors.
