Brentwood Dermatology has been providing skin care services to clients in Brentwood, Tennessee and the surrounding area since 1983. Started by Dr. Bill McDaniel, the practice has always focused on providing personalized skin care for all types of skin problems as well as outpatient skin surgery for benign and malignant skin lesions. More recently, highly specialized surgical, IPL, and laser procedures have been added to meet the ever-expanding need for treatment of cosmetic skin concerns such as wrinkles, sun damage, scars, unwanted hair, or birthmarks. Dr. McDaniel is assisted by Nurse Practitioners Nita Glover and Sarah Hill in the treatment of medical dermatology conditions. Aesthetician Lisa Binkley performs a variety of procedures including facials, chemical peels, and both long-term IPL hair removal and permanent hair removal using the Lucy Peters system. She also assists patients with their needs in terms of skin care products they should use at home, a variety of which are available for sale at our office. Our clerical and nursing staff work together with us to insure that our patients' experience while they are in our office is pleasant and positive. We are excited to have recently added the Fraxel laser to our cosmetic procedure offerings. This revolutionary tool for rejuvenation of the skin has amazing capabilities for reversing the signs of aging with the added benefit of requiring minimal downtime. Most recently, we have begun using the new Fraxel Repair laser which uses a CO2 laser to remove millions of microscopic sections of skin, resulting in immediate shrinkage and tightening of skin from the aging face, neck, and eyelids with only slightly longer downtime.
