Growing up in his father's woodworking shop in Cape Town, South Africa, owner Robin Smith developed an appreciation for fine materials as well as the artistry of age old woodworking techniques. Our impressive portfolio of custom work showcases a wide array of designs, varying in style and material. Block & Chisel is frequently asked to see original designs through the fabrication, finishing and installation process. We offer fine craftsmanship and value rarely found these days. Having built strong relationships with architects, designers and contractors, we are regularly called upon for needed collaboration when creating and executing the most challenging of designs.
