Batson and Brown offers a full range of civil engineering, surveying, and testing services to federal, state, municipal and private clients. Our area of expertise consist of transportation projects ranging from State Highways, County State Aid Roads, local county roads, municipal streets, site development, access roads and parking facilities. Our experience with work of this nature is second to none. We currently serve as State Aid Engineers for Jackson, George, and Green counties. Additionally, we have served as consultant engineers on MDOT LPA projects for the cities of Pascagoula, Gautier, and Ocean Springs. Serving as State Aid County Engineers and Consultant Engineer for various cities and towns gives Batson and Brown unique experience in all types of municipal, county, state, and private projects including: Roads Streets Drainage Water Sewer Landfills Bridges Prisons Firing Ranges Subdivisions Railroads Stormwater Detention/Retention Facilities Wetlands Parks Pipelines Work performed includes feasibility studies, permitting, reports, surveys, design, plans, specifications, project administration, storm water plans, testing, and construction inspection. Our design team is highly skilled at producing clear, professional, detailed, project plans. Previous projects undertaken by the firm range in diversity, size, and complexity; such as state transportation systems, county roadways, local community water distribution systems, municipal sewer collection and treatment, and surveys from 64 miles of utility line to 1 acre.
