Studio Joseph is an architecture practice focused on designing profound work that emerges from unpretentious, pragmatic thinking. We believe that what we build should be transformative. Based on an understanding of the full parameters of a project, our formal and organizational principles move beyond the sum of parts to an integrated whole. Heightened affects within a carefully composed overall environment are the result of a single, refined concept reinforced by careful detailing. Our ambition is to achieve unique design through a rational, iterative process of study. We work together strategically to combine our experiences in a collaborative studio. With these convictions, there is boundless room for innovation; and it is that which inspires us. Studio Joseph is a WBE (Woman Business Enterprise) in New York City and has National Certification. As part of a commitment to public work, the firm is currently part of the highly competitive Small Firms Design Excellence Program for the NYC/DDC (Department of Design and Construction) and on a team for a New York City Parks Department On-Call program.
