RICKARD AIR DIFFUSION (PTY) LTD was established in Cape Town, South Africa in 1979 with a staff of only two. Today it is South Africa's leading producer and exporter of quality variable air volume equipment and controls. The company is privately owned, managed and directed by its shareholders. Since 1985 Rickard has actively promoted its products in foreign countries, which has resulted in the installation of its equipment in such prestigious buildings as the Rolls Royce offices in Birmingham, London's Heathrow Airport, Le Touessrok Hotel on the island of Mauritius, The Reseve Bank of Zimbabwe in Harare, and Alcatel's offices in Penang, Malaysia. The company won the Safmarine Trophy in 1994 for best export performance in its class in the Western Cape region. The company's labour force, headed by fully-qualified engineering staff, is well trained, reliable and committed to producing the quality equipment for which Rickard has become renowned.
