The quality work of Mechworks Mechanical Contractors began in 1997 with the opening of the East Division in Beaufort, N.C. Founder and President Ron Lovings wanted to provide local and regional developers of commercial and industrial sites with a contractor that could fulfill all of their mechanical needs through high quality work and cost-effective pricing. After several years, Mechworks had gained clientele from such a large area of the state, it was decided that a new office was needed to serve those businesses centralized in the western regions of North Carolina. In 2003, the Greensboro, N.C. office of MechWorks opened its doors. At Mechworks, we boast some of the most experienced employees in the business-all of whom are well-versed in the services we offer. The contractors of Mechworks have been recognized with many awards for their superior expertise, including the Mechanical Multiple Award Contract (MACC) North Carolina Area, the Officer in Charge of Construction Marine Corps Installations East Safety Letter of Recognition, as well as the Green Building of America Award for Excellence in Green Building on the Fort Macon Coastal Education Center. Throughout the last few decades our superior knowledge coupled with our outstanding service has helped make President Lovings' dream of a comprehensive mechanical contracting firm a reality. Mechworks now serves clients from a variety of industries in locales all across the state and continues to expand. Our notable clientele include Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station, Camp Lejeune, and numerous N.C. Public School Systems.
