Intelligent Energy Solutions LLC (IES) has developed and operates a powerful cloud based set of managed service solutions that delivers its customers the economic benefit of Virtual Peaking Power Plants, Virtual Power Plants and Virtual Microgrids through Capacity Management, Peak Load Management, Energy Efficiency Optimization, Asset Management and Distributed Energy Resources Management. IES's cloud intelligence acts continuously and automatically in real time to dynamically optimize building energy performance. IES integrates, aggregates and manages consumer-based load, generation and storage assets and related technologies in concert with economic or market based constructs to reduce overall energy system costs and improve grid reliability. IES is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Energy Company. IES's Energy Network Operations Center (ENOC) and Technology Development Center are located in Atlanta Georgia.
